This week I’m Brindie’s featured maker! There’s also a quick interview so you can get to know me a little better.
If you live in Canberra and want to shop locally then you need to check out Brindie. Brindie is Canberra’s premiere online platform for sharing the work of makers, designers and artisans. If you ever wanted to shop locally Brindie is the place to go as everything on the website is designed or made by someone here in the ACT.
Thank you Lisa for making my day :)

This card design is inspired by an iconic design, the Red and Blue Chair designed by Gerrit Rietveld in 1918. The chair is representative of De Stijl movement.
This card design is inspired by this gorgeous colourful boot. Image via The Blonde Salad. I think these bright colours make a wonderful summery party invite don’t you think?
This card design is inspired by this gorgeous dress called Calculated Risk by Camilla and Marc. The colours and the design of this dress are slightly unusual but I think that is what makes this dress so unique. I think it also makes a great card too.
This card design is inspired by this beautiful photo by Not So Mumsy. The outfit is styled with items available from Katies. I thought the colours and the stripes gave this card a very nautical feel about it.
This card design is inspired by this t-shirt from Witchery. Stripes are so much fun to wear and they also make great cards too! I wouldn’t normally put these two colours together, but I like the result.

Today I wanted to share more of the cards that I’ve designed inspired by beautiful images and here they are below. These cards I’ve been so much fun to put together and I love the process of putting a design together this way. I grab different design elements from the image to help me put together a layout that is suitable for a card. It is sooo much fun and at the same time a wonderful challenge.
This card design is inspired by this gorgeous dress called Calculated Risk by @camillaandmarc. The stunning @montanacox is the model and the dress is available from @davidjonesstore. The colors and the design of this dress are slightly unusual but I think that is what makes this dress so unique. I think it also makes a great card too :)
This card design is inspired by this beautiful white dress by @balmainparis @olivier_rousteing worn by @kendalljenner. All white, simple elegance.
This card design is inspired by this beautiful photo by @notsomumsy. The outfit is styled with items available from @katiesfashion. I thought the colours and the stripes gave this card a very nautical feel about it. I really like the end result!
This card design is inspired by this bright and colorful summer dress by @katiesfashion. Yellow is one of my favorite colors (as you might have noticed by my logo) and I love wearing it too. Yellow is such a happy colour and I think it also looks wonderful used in a card.
This card design is inspired by this tee from @witcheryfashion. Stripes are so much fun to wear and they also make great cards too! I wouldn’t normally put these two colours together, but I like the result.
